Ok. So on Sunday 2/24 I’m hosting my favorite workshop ever!! PELVIC FLOOR 101: DEMYSTIFYING MULA BANDHA ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ok so I haven’t actually led this particular 4 hour workshop on the pelvic floor 🤷🏻‍♀️ BUT this is the glorious culmination of multiple pelvis-related workshops + all my excitement and interest in all things pelvis 🦋💃🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So. If the muscular center of your body is only working at 50%, then how can you expect the rest of your body to move or feel it's best? Learn more about the core of your body! Maybe you’re that person with all the back aches and pains and sciatica? Or maybe you have pelvic pain? Incontinence? Maybe you e trying to improve your posture and abdominal strength and you’re getting a whole lotta nowhere? Or maybe you’re trying to land that handstand 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏾‍♂️ Believe you me - I gotcha covered. Learning more about the pelvic floor will guide you into deeper understanding about the movements and capabilities of your body 🙏🏼

The need to express who we are is both necessary and fulfilling. Expressing who we are is less about describing ourselves than it is about letting out who we are in a regular rhythm that is as imperative as breathing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And it all begins at the center. The physical center The spiritual center The emotional center The center is the foundation. It must be both strong and flexible ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The pelvic floor - IMO - is the center of this ability to live in integrity with self-expression. In anxiety, pelvic floor muscles and breathing may become rigid and tight, as if frozen. When feeling foggy or down, there is often disconnection from the pelvis and breath overall. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The integrity and awareness of the pelvis + pelvic floor is a central component to self expression - if we have our strong central foundation then we can move and express freely without feeling disjointed or disengaged. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All of this comes down to... I’m teaching a workshop!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ▪️Pelvic Floor 101: Demystifying Mula Bandha ▪️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’ll be part lecture, part exploration and partner work, and part practice to integrate all that we’ve learned.
