To me, travel is more than going to a new place or vacationing somewhere exotic. Travel is about discovery and exploration: discovering and exploring the new, or simply changing your perspective so that you can see old things in a totally new way. From exploring the world from Europe to Southeast Asia, to discovering a new side to myself, to making a change for the better, to accepting a bad situation, to loving the person I am. That’s what this blog is about. It’s my diary.
My diary of discovery: listening to poetry chant with each ocean wave as it laps at the shore; drinking in coconut ambrosia as each sip rejuvenates my body; breathing in the fresh green aromas of mother nature as we synchronize our breath; bearing witness to the hauntingly bright moon as she fills the air with her afterglow; feeling strength of the mountain in my feet as I ascend.
My journey, a cosmic journey, to find all of life’s magic. To appreciate and relish in the beauty of the world as I remember to take in the good, the bad, the frustrating, the exciting, the scary, and the illuminating, as a part of this journey. Each moment creating the mosaic of my life and striving to cherish the moments as they come.
